YES Drawing Club artists opened their hearts, minds and sketchbooks. They met online weekly to challenge themselves and each other.
Arts and Integrative Medicine (AIM) at Montefiore Medical Center introduced the Youth Empowerment Series (YES) in 2018.
In 2019, AIM collaborated with Fine Art at Montefiore/Einstein, to open The YES Gallery: A rotating exhibit of Bronx youth art, prominently and publicly displayed off the main lobby at Montefiore Medical Center’s Moses Campus
In 2020, the COVID 19 pandemic threatened our lives and closed down the city, but it could not stop our YES participants!
