Desiree Curcio, M.S.
Desiree Curcio, M.S., is a psychology extern who joined the Montefiore team in July of 2020. She is currently completing her doctorate in clinical psychology at LIU Post. Her roles at Montefiore include providing CBT and DBT psychotherapy and co-leading YES Art group.

The Pride Initiative includes Dr. Joe Gallego’s curriculum for parents and the newly formed YES Pride group: Our Stories, Our Lives, facilitated by Jenny Seham and Trey Dellucci.
YES Photovoice for Trauma, Co-Facilitator
Sophie Palitz, M.A.
Sophie Palitz, M.A. is a doctoral candidate in Temple University's Clinical Psychology program, and is currently completing her pre-doctoral internship at Montefiore Medical Center. At Montefiore, Sophie's role includes providing evidence-based psychotherapy to children, adolescents, couples and families, as well as getting to co-lead one of the AIM therapy group.
AIM Collaborations
The YES Garden Project
An initial collaboration with psychiatry resident and landscaper, Dr. Peter Spyrou, the YES Garden returned in 2021 with youth gardeners wearing masks for COVID protections. Facilitated by: Sandra Pimental, PhD and Jenny Seham who give special thanks to Dennis Chiulli, the Montefiore Department of Engineering, Maddy Garcia, and the entire staff of Montefiore’s Child Outpatient Psychiatry Division.
The YES Gallery
The YES Gallery is a collaboration with Fine Art at Montefiore/Einstein and was co-founded by AIM Director, Dr. Jenny Seham and Fine Art Curator, Olivia Davis.
YPC and NDI
Collaboration of dance and music with Youth Pride Chorus (YPC), directed by Wes Webb, and National Dance Institute (NDI) and the Lighthouse International for the Blind.
